Hard drive

Lets explore the Xbox one’s hardware. The Xbox one is the most recent generation of gamer console released by Microsoft. Xbox one differs from the former in many areas, one of them being storage amount. The Xbox one allows for 8GB of storage memory on the Hard drive, this alone would not be that much, however the primary usage of the Xbox console is from external drives or rather gaming disks. In addition to the 8 GB storage on the Hard drive the gaming console also offers an additional 8 GB RAM ( random access memory) which allows users to store data in no particular order, but also to access the wanted data at will.  If this memory is not enough, the console also has a USB port for additional data storage on zip drives. This console also boasts a Blu ray DVD capabilities through its external drive, as well as the possibility of syncing a keyboard and mouse up with the system.

The Xbox one has several competitors in its market, two of them being the Nintendo Wii and the PlayStation 4.  The PlayStation 4 also has 8 GB memory, USB port, and it costs $399.99, which is priced lower with the Xbox one being $499.99. The Nintendo Wii  is also a competitor because the Xbox kinect and Wii are both interactive consoles. The Wii is priced at $99.99 with a smaller memory of 1 GB.
